That’s So ‘70s Styled Workshop at The Aquila Barn

Hosted by Charley Rice Weddings | September 29th from 1p-4p | Moscow Mills, MO

These events combine traditional styled shoots with photography education. Similar to a traditional styled shoot, we bring in vendors and models to stage beautiful, aesthetic faux weddings. Venues and vendors get access to all photos taken for marketing and social media in addition to tags across shoot posts from vendors, models, and hosts in exchange for the use of the venue space.

Meanwhile, photographers refine and improve their craft while learning important skills (editing, angles, posing, lighting, etc.) from industry professionals. Photographers must also be tagged in social media posts and credited for their work across all social media platforms from all vendors, the host, and the venue.

Workshop Registration

There will be 5 spots available for this workshop. It will be $100 to register. This includes the networking meet and greet, a one-hour workshop, access to all photography stations, a free shooting period with the models, snacks, and refreshments. Workshop registration will open immediately in the event.

Instructor Calls

The photography instructor call will be posted immediately in the Facebook event. This is a paid instructing opportunity. The following requirements must be met:

(1) Must show a portfolio of your work

(2) Must have 5 years of extensive experience shooting weddings

(3) Must be willing to drive within an hour from St. Louis

(4) Must create an hour-long workshop and must list the proposed workshop subject on the application

Model Calls

The model calls for this event will be posted on immediately in the Facebook event. We will need one couple for this shoot. As always, LGBT+ couples are welcome and celebrated in our spaces. This is a volunteer modeling opportunity. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
